Aksa’s Eid Clothing Project Brings Joy to Children

As Eid approaches and families prepare for joy and celebration, thousands of displaced and underprivileged children in Gaza remain unable to enjoy even the simplest elements of the holiday. In response to this heartbreaking reality, Aqsa Association launched the Eid Clothing Project to bring smiles to children’s faces by providing them with new clothes that honor their joy and restore their sense of dignity and belonging during Eid.

The project targets orphans, displaced children, and those from low-income families. New clothing sets are distributed in a variety of sizes and include full outfits and shoes, tailored to the children’s ages and needs. These garments are carefully selected for quality and style to ensure that each child feels the genuine joy of Eid—free from feelings of deprivation or exclusion.

Aksa Association has maintained a strong field presence during every crisis or emergency call, earning the trust of both the local community and global donors. Through its teams deployed across Gaza, the association ensures swift, organized aid delivery while maintaining full transparency, making it a model of integrity and humanitarian efficiency.

The clothes distributed were more than just fabric—they were a covering of dignity and a humanitarian message that children who lost their homes or parents have not been forgotten. Many families expressed deep gratitude for the positive psychological impact the project had—boosting children’s confidence and helping families feel that the spirit of Eid had returned to their homes, despite the harsh conditions.

Through the Eid Clothing Project, Aqsa Association reaffirms its commitment to standing with children during every season of joy, transforming charity work into a shared celebration that leaves no child behind. The joy of Eid is a right for every child, and sharing that joy is not just material support—it is a deeply human act that restores the soul of the holiday and brings back the smiles of childhood.
