Since the beginning of the Israeli assault on the Gaza Strip in October 2023, Palestinians have been enduring one of the harshest waves of displacement in their modern history. Relentless bombardment that spared no home, neighborhood, or hospital forced hundreds of thousands of families to flee, carrying only fragments of memories and hope while leaving behind the rubble of shattered dreams. Schools and public buildings have turned into makeshift shelters, lacking even the most basic requirements for a dignified life.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

According to UN reports, the number of internally displaced persons (IDPs) in Gaza has surpassed 1.7 million\u2014more than 70% of the population. These displaced individuals face dire conditions: acute shortages of water and food, absence of privacy, and widespread disease due to overcrowding and inadequate sanitation. Women and children are the most affected, with many suffering from deep psychological trauma caused by the destruction, violence, and repeated displacement they have witnessed.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

As the assault intensifies, many displaced persons continue to move from one area to another in search of safer refuge\u2014often in vain.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Aksa Association is working through its relief programs to alleviate this immense burden by providing food parcels, clean drinking water, hygiene supplies, temporary shelter units, and psychological support for children.
